Job summary

HBK Engineering, LLC seeks a Senior Project Manager for the Underground Transmission team, based in Chicago or Philadelphia. You will lead project managers, engineers, designers, and field personnel through design, modification, analysis, and constructability of 69kV–345kV systems.

Responsibilities include risk identification, mitigation planning, preparing proposals and contracts, and ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery with safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited program.
• PMP certification or PE license preferred.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, SharePoint, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience leading engineering design teams through all phases of underground transmission projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead teams of project managers, engineers, designers, and field personnel in underground transmission design and constructability.
• Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Prepare, review, and approve proposals, contracts, and cost estimates.
• Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget; manage financials and metrics.
• Coordinate with sub-consultants, clients, and governing jurisdictions.
