Job summary

Google’s Trust and Safety team guards users and enforces policies across products, focusing on abuse prevention, safety, and risk management. The RBM Messaging Spam and Abuse group protects the Business-to-User and User-to-Business ecosystem with cross-functional engineers, policy specialists, and program managers.

You will work globally with Google Engineers and Product Managers to navigate online safety challenges, scale automated enforcement, and de-risk abuse at Google scale, contributing to

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 10 years of experience in data analytics, trust and safety, policy, anti-abuse messaging solutions, fraud/abuse investigations, risk management, or a related field.
• 3 years of experience in leading and developing teams.
• 3 years of experience with product launch or program management.

Responsibilities

• Identify Business-to-Users and Users-to-Business threats, working cross-functionally, designing and building anti-abuse protections.
• Analyze data and trends to identify signals for scaled enforcement, leading projects to increase the adoption of AI/ML to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
• Design and operate the full Trust and Safety funnel of review, enforcement, and appeals workflows. Ensure effective policy implementation by drafting guidelines for reviewers and overseeing review and enforcement quality.
• Provide abuse and policy expertise to Product, Engineering, and other teams, supporting the development of automated enforcement solutions.
• Monitor ecosystem performance against key metrics, investigating anomalies in spam trends, identifying root causes.
