Job summary

Google is seeking a senior leader for its Trust and Safety org, focusing on RBM Messaging Spam and Abuse. You will work with engineers, product managers, and policy specialists to scale anti-abuse protections and reduce risk across Google’s ecosystem.

You will guide cross-functional teams, leverage AI/ML to improve operations, and influence safer-by-design product features. Strong communication and leadership are essential in this global role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 10 years of experience in data analytics, trust and safety, policy, anti-abuse messaging solutions, fraud/abuse investigations, risk management, or a related field.
• 3 years of experience in leading and developing teams.
• 3 years of experience with product launch or program management.

Responsibilities

• Identify Business-to-Users and Users-to-Business threats, working cross-functionally, designing and building anti-abuse protections.
• Analyze data and trends to identify signals for scaled enforcement, leading projects to increase the adoption of AI/ML to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
• Design and operate the full Trust and Safety funnel of review, enforcement, and appeals workflows; draft guidelines for reviewers and oversee review and enforcement quality.
• Provide abuse and policy expertise to Product, Engineering, and other teams, supporting development of automated enforcement solutions.
• Monitor ecosystem performance against key metrics, investigate anomalies in spam trends, and manage escalations with data-driven insights.
