Papé Kenworth in Federal Way, WA is seeking an Experienced Truck Technician/Mechanic for the swing shift. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain medium and heavy-duty Class 7&8 trucks, ensuring high-quality workmanship to maximize uptime for customers.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience on medium/heavy-duty class 7/8 trucks, including engine repair and electronic troubleshooting.
• Kenworth Essentials certifications preferred.
• Experience with Cummins and MX software.
• Strong self-motivation and communication skills.
• Must provide own tools.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair medium and heavy‑duty Class 7 & 8 trucks to high standards.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, identifying best solutions.
• Repair or rebuild major components such as cabs, steering, engines, transmissions, axles, differentials, brakes, clutches, electrical and air systems.
• Work alongside other technicians in a fully equipped shop.
• Swing shift schedule: 2:30 pm – 11:00 pm.
