Pape’ Kenworth in Federal Way, WA is seeking a Journeyman Truck Technician/Mechanic for the swing shift. You will work on medium and heavy‑duty class 7/8 trucks, diagnosing and performing repairs to engine, electrical, HVAC, chassis, and other systems.

You’ll play a leadership role, guiding teammates to restore uptime with precision and safety. The role emphasizes technical expertise, critical thinking under pressure, and a commitment to quality.

Formación

• 3+ years of experience on medium/heavy‑duty class 7/8 trucks, including engine repair and electronic troubleshooting.
• HVAC systems experience preferred.
• Strong communication and customer relations skills.

Responsabilidades

• Repair or rebuild components across engines, transmissions, axles, brakes, electrical and air systems.
• Diagnose complex truck malfunctions and determine best corrective actions.
• Maintain and service trucks to minimize downtime and extend vehicle life.
