Job summary

Pape’ Kenworth – Anchorage, AK is seeking a Journeyman Truck Technician / Mechanic for swing shift to work on medium and heavy-duty class 7 & 8 trucks. Join a team dedicated to quality repairs and reliable uptime.

You'll diagnose, repair, and service trucks, lead by example with safety and craftsmanship, and contribute to customer satisfaction. The role requires experience, tool ownership, and the ability to work with limited supervision.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience on medium/heavy-duty class 7/8 trucks.
• Engine repair, electronic trouble-shooting, HVAC, chassis repair.
• Kenworth Essentials certifications preferred.
• Must provide own tools.

Responsibilities

• Work on medium and heavy-duty class 7/8 trucks in the shop.
• Diagnose complex truck malfunctions and determine best action.
• Repair or rebuild cabs, engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical systems.
• Maintain and service trucks to minimize downtime.
