Job summary

Pape’ Kenworth – Federal Way, WA seeks an Experienced Truck Technician to maintain and repair medium and heavy-duty Class 7 & 8 trucks on a swing shift (2:30 pm – 11:00 pm). You’ll diagnose complex mechanical and electrical issues and restore peak performance, joining a team with robust training and strong growth opportunities.

Required: 2+ years on 7/8 trucks, engine repair, electronic troubleshooting, HVAC and chassis work; Kenworth Essentials cert preferred; must own tools.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience on medium/heavy-duty Class 7/8 trucks, incl. engine repair, electronic troubleshooting, HVAC, chassis repair.
• Diesel tech degree accepted; strong mechanical aptitude appreciated.
• Basic computer knowledge; Cummins MX software experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and rebuild components for medium and heavy-duty trucks to maximize uptime.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues and perform preventative maintenance.
• Work in a fully equipped shop alongside skilled technicians with proper tools.
