Papé Kenworth in Federal Way, WA is seeking a Journeyman Truck Technician / Mechanic for the swing shift to maintain and repair medium and heavy-duty class 7/8 trucks. You’ll diagnose, repair, and rebuild systems to keep customers on the road and uptime high, while guiding others with your expertise.

The role focuses on hands-on mechanical work, critical thinking under pressure, and delivering high-quality results with safety and reliability in mind.

Competenze

• 3+ years of experience on medium/heavy-duty class 7/8 trucks, incl. engines and systems.
• Experience with engine repair, electronic troubleshooting, HVAC, and chassis repair.

Mansioni

• Diagnose and repair complex truck malfunctions to return vehicles to service.
• Repair or rebuild cabs, steering, engines, transmissions, axles, brakes, electrical, or air systems.
• Maintain and service trucks to minimize downtime and extend vehicle life.
• Collaborate with teammates and lead others with guidance and expertise.
