Job summary

Dennis Group is seeking a Construction Program Manager to oversee strategic planning, management, and execution of large industrial food and beverage construction projects. You will supervise site-based managers, mentor staff, and ensure projects meet schedule, budget, and quality goals while maintaining strong client relationships.

You will travel up to 100% to projects across the USA and possibly Canada, coordinating with inspectors, suppliers, and project controllers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction science, building science, construction engineering or a related field is strongly preferred.
• 15+ years of progressively responsible job site experience on industrial building projects (preferably in Food & Beverage).
• 15+ years of experience with subcontractors and coordinating multiple trades.
• Demonstrated ability to drive project schedules.
• 15+ years of building or sustaining client relationships.
• 7+ years of design-build experience (preferred).
• Willingness to travel up to 100% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee client relationships by understanding needs, listening, and addressing feedback transparently.
• Review project schedule, progress, and budget with the client.
• Communicate project progress, issues, and updates to the client proactively.
• Set and manage project timelines, deliverables, and expectations with the client.
• Adapt to changing client needs while maintaining professionalism.
• Build trust by delivering on expectations and driving value for clients.
• Foster professional relationships where the Construction Program Manager provides guidance.
