Job summary

Dennis Group is seeking Construction Managers to supervise daily construction operations for food and beverage process facilities across the United States and Canada. You will coordinate subcontractors, uphold safety programs, manage schedules and budgets, and interact with owners and A/E teams in a dynamic project environment.

This client-facing role requires a deep understanding of construction processes, strong communication, and the ability to work with multiple software tools.

Qualifications

• Ten years of progressively responsible job site experience on industrial building projects.
• Extensive design-build experience (10+ years).
• Experience overseeing subcontractors and driving the project schedule.
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents, schedules, and budgets.
• Strong client interaction skills and ability to liaise with owners, subs, and A/E teams.

Responsibilities

• Daily supervision of construction activities including coordination of subcontractors and site safety programs
• Develop and update project scope, budget, and schedule with project management
• Establish and uphold site safety procedures with the safety team
• Oversee process, mechanical and utility equipment installations
• Handle permitting, code and regulatory approvals
• Manage change orders and general construction administration
• Coordinate field engineering activities
• Coordinate inspections
• Support facility start-up
• Manage third-party testing and inspection
