Job summary

Dennis Group is seeking a seasoned Construction Program Manager to lead industrial food and beverage projects from concept to completion. You will supervise site construction managers, manage client relationships, budgets, and schedules, and ensure safety and quality across multiple sites.

The role requires 15+ years of industry experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to travel up to 100% across the USA and Canada. A Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in construction science, building science, construction engineering or a related field is strongly preferred.
• 15+ years of progressively responsible job site experience on industrial building projects (preferably in Food & Beverage).
• 15+ years of working with sub-contractors and managing client relationships.
• Strong ability to drive project schedules and maintain client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Manage and foster relationships with clients by understanding their needs and addressing feedback transparently.
• Review project schedule, progress, and budget with the client.
• Communicate project progress, issues, and updates to the client proactively.
• Set and manage project timelines, deliverables, and expectations with the client.
• Oversee site-based construction managers, field staff, and coordinate with inspectors and permits.
• Provide input on project accounting, budgeting, and cost management.
• Develop construction reports for client executives and coordinate invoicing with project controllers.
• Travel up to 100% of the time to projects across the USA and possibly Canada.
