Job summary

Dennis Group is seeking a Construction Program Manager to oversee strategic planning, management, and execution of large industrial construction projects in the food and beverage sector. You will lead onsite construction managers, mentor teams, and ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget.

Will manage client relationships, coordinate with project controls, and drive safety and quality across multi-discipline teams on projects across the USA and Canada.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in construction science, building science, construction engineering or a related field is strongly preferred
• 15+ years of progressively responsible job site experience working on industrial building projects (food & beverage preferred)
• 15+ years of working with sub-contractors and coordinating their issues
• Demonstrated ability to drive project schedules
• 15+ years of building or sustaining client relationships
• Strong technical, organizational, managerial, and communication skills across disciplines; proficient with 3D models
• 7+ years of Design-build experience (preferred)
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents and schedules, especially MS Project
• Travel up to 100% to USA/Canada projects; work 10 days onsite, 4 days off

Responsibilities

• Manage and foster client relationships by understanding needs, listening, and addressing feedback transparently
• Review project schedule, progress, and budget with the client
• Communicate project progress, issues, and updates to the client proactively
• Set and manage project timelines, deliverables, and expectations with the client
• Oversee site-based construction managers, field staff, and provide direction on safety
• Develop and update project scope, budget, and schedule in coordination with the office PM
• Coordinate inspections, permits, and third-party testing; manage changes and billing
• Promote productive communication among project participants and stakeholders
