Job summary

Direct Travel is seeking a Senior Technical Implementation Consultant to lead client onboarding and the technical setup of new clients, products, and platforms. You will ensure accurate configuration, complete data validation, and a smooth handoff from sales to operations.

The role requires strong project management, experience with travel technology and booking platforms, and the ability to coordinate across Sales, IT, and Operations to meet milestones and client needs.

Qualifications

• 12–15 years of experience in client onboarding, system implementation, or operations support in travel, SaaS, or hospitality.
• Familiarity with travel tech and booking platforms (Spotnana, Concur, Deem, Sabre, Amadeus, etc.).
• Demonstrate leadership as project lead or support; strong project management and multi-project prioritization.
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and verbal/written communication.
• Proficient with MS Office, Smartsheet, Jira/Asana, and Salesforce; English language proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical implementations for new customers and the Avenir platform.
• Configure client accounts, tools, and platforms (GDS, booking tools, profiles).
• Gather requirements and align with DT technology value proposition.
• Create and manage project timelines and client deliverables.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams (Sales, IT, Operations) and run project calls.
• Perform system testing and QA of booking tools and integrations.
• Document design decisions and client-specific setup guides.
• Support post-implementation handoff to operations.
• Identify process improvements from feedback.
