Job summary

Transdev Services, Inc. in Boston seeks a Senior Safety Manager – Compliance to provide operational safety oversight for the Boston Public Schools transportation contract. You will lead safety programs, investigations, and risk management to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

The role requires extensive safety and training experience with a focus on DOT/FMCSA, OSHA, EPA, and ADA rules, and strong leadership to coach staff and support daily operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Public Administration or related field preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of passenger transit safety or training experience preferred.
• Supervisory experience in safety or training required.

Responsibilities

• Oversees all safety incidents and investigations and reports to senior leadership.
• Manages site Safety and Training Department including training, scheduling and documentation.
• Oversees DriveCam program to increase safety and reduce incidents and risky behavior.
• Manages Safety Desk and Road Safety Supervisors for prompt incident response.
• Ensures reporting and risk management tools and compliance with regulations.
• Maintains confidentiality and enforces workplace policies and procedures.
