AtkinsRéalis in Texas is seeking a Senior Roads & Highways Project Manager to lead design teams on highway projects within the Central Region. You will drive project delivery, budgets, and client interactions while mentoring junior staff.

The role requires a TX-licensed P.E., 10+ years of Civil Engineering experience, and strong leadership in complex transportation programs. Expect growth, competitive benefits, and a dynamic team environment.

Qualifications

• BS and/or MS in Civil Engineering.
• 10+ years of engineering experience.
• Must have highway/roadway design and project management experience.
• Knowledge of Schematic and/or PS&E processes is essential.
• Excellent technical and interpersonal skills.
• Strong project financial management and team management skills.
• DOT experience is a plus but not a requirement.
• P.E. license in TX is required.
• Project Manager Professional a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Execute transportation projects by leading engineering design and coordinating with design staff.
• Schedule and run project meetings with the team, regulators, clients and others involved.
• Manage project production by tracking manhours, costs and expenses and report progress to management.
• Identify roadway/highway opportunities and present proposals to clients.
• Coordinate contract negotiations with clients and subcontractors and draft agreements.
• Direct project team and client compliance with contract terms and monitor subcontractors’ compliance.
• Prepare work plans, scopes, schedules, budgets and monitor production against targets.
