Job summary

Larson Design Group, an employee-owned Architecture, Engineering, and Consulting firm, is seeking a Project Manager to oversee client and project management, budgets, schedules, and business development within the Transportation Group. The role emphasizes leadership, mentorship of staff, and strong client relations in a dynamic environment.

Ideal candidates hold a Civil Engineering degree, 10+ years of experience (WV DOH preferred) and a PE or equivalent license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering.
• 10+ years of job-related experience; WV DOH experience preferred.
• Professional Engineer (PE) or equivalent licensure strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plans and conducts work requiring judgment in independent evaluation, selection, and modification of standard techniques and criteria.
• Manages clients/bridge and highway projects for local municipalities, WV DOH and more.
• Manages services up to $1M in revenue.
• Prepares workload forecasting reports; prepares technical and price proposals and schedules.
• Identifies new markets, develops leads and opportunities, and pursues new geographies.
• Coaches, mentors, and motivates project team members and sub-consultants.
• Directs, mentors and guides team members with performance evaluations and career development plans.
