Job summary

Larson Design Group is seeking a Highway Program Manager to lead a portfolio of transportation projects, managing project managers and key client relationships. You will coordinate staffing, ensure quality deliverables, and drive strategic growth for transportation services.

The role requires a PE license, a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, and 15 years of transportation engineering leadership experience.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
Minimum of fifteen (15) years of relevant transportation engineering experience.
Professional Engineer (PE) license required.

Responsibilities

Leads a portfolio of highway projects and project managers, ensuring successful delivery and client satisfaction.
Develops and cultivates long‑term client relationships and positions LDG as a trusted transportation partner.
Provides oversight to Project Managers and Senior Project Managers, resolving significant project and delivery issues.
Balances workload and resources across the program to meet commitments and sustain performance.
Establishes clear expectations for quality and execution across the portfolio.
Monitors financial performance, backlog, risks, and staffing needs; takes proactive action.
Leads, mentors, and develops project managers and staff for growth.
Drives business development and strategic growth with client engagement and opportunities.
Supports leadership in annual goals and long‑term strategic initiatives.
