Job summary

Larson Design Group is seeking a Project Manager to oversee transportation projects, including design, communications, budgets, and client relations. You will manage teams, ensure schedule adherence, and steer business development for the Transportation Group.

Responsibilities include leading proposals, maintaining quality control, and mentoring staff while coordinating with clients and regulatory agencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum of ten years' job-related experience; PennDOT experience preferred.
• Professional Engineer (PE) licensure or other licensure strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plans and conducts work requiring judgment in independent evaluation and modification of standard techniques.
• Manages clients/bridge and highway projects for local municipalities and PennDOT.
• Manages services up to $1M in revenue.
• Creates and tracks client proposals (scope, price, budgets, schedules).
• Prepares workload forecasting reports.
• Ensures compliance with environmental, survey, and permitting requirements.
• Promotes QA/QC processes to improve deliverables and reduce errors.
• Prepares, reviews, and coordinates contract agreements.
• Identifies new markets, pursues leads, and develops geographies.
• Coaches, mentors, and motivates project team members.
