Job summary

WSP is seeking a full-time Technical Director, Project Management in Exton, PA to lead delivery of transportation infrastructure programs across Pennsylvania and the Mid-Atlantic, with a focus on major regional transit and rail agency clients such as SEPTA and PennDOT.

The role requires senior leadership, client management, technical oversight, and staff development across projects from planning through construction, including construction management for large regional programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Construction Management, or a closely related field.
• Approximately 15+ years of progressively responsible experience in project management and transportation delivery.
• Experience managing complex transportation projects involving transit, rail, bridge, highway, and multimodal infrastructure.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage scope, schedule, budget, risk, and client expectations.
• Strong experience with public-sector transportation agencies and stakeholder coordination.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Project Manager, Program Manager, or Technical Director on transportation assignments across transit, rail, bridge, and highways.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams and oversee scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk, and performance.
• Maintain client relationships and coordinate with public-sector agencies and utilities.
• Manage planning, design delivery, construction support, and program management across project lifecycles.
• Coordinate with engineers, planners, environmental specialists, and contractors to deliver projects.
