Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a Technical Director, Project Management for the Mountain Pacific Region. You will lead cross-functional teams on major transportation programs, oversee budgets, schedules, and QA/QC, and coordinate with clients to deliver complex projects in the Pacific Northwest.

This role requires 12+ years post-education, PMP or CAP-M, and strong leadership with excellent communication. You will develop proposals, monitor ETCs, and guide project managers through change management while

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Planning or related discipline.
  • 12+ years of relevant post-education experience with 5+ years in transit/transportation projects.
  • Proficient understanding of project delivery in the A/E/C industry and strong PM background.
  • Essential PM certification or equivalent experience (PMP, CAP-M) required.
  • High-level analytical, organizational and communication skills; problem solving ability.

Responsibilities

  • Support major transportation programs and projects and oversee cross-functional teams.
  • Monitor budgets, hours, expenses, and contractual obligations to deliver defined work.
  • Develop proposals, cost estimates, scope, schedules and resource plans.
  • Support budget development, ETCs and recovery plans; assist with invoicing.
  • Assist in change management, QA/QC activities and contract changes.
  • Maintain client communications with monthly status reporting and risk/budget updates.
  • Lead project management staff with guidance and performance feedback.
