WSP is seeking a Vice President of Structural Engineering to lead our Eastern Pennsylvania District, overseeing highway bridges, rail and transit structures, and other professional services from Philadelphia and Exton offices. The role requires guiding senior engineers, ensuring safety, quality, and regulatory compliance while pursuing new opportunities.

The position emphasizes people leadership, innovation, and cross-team collaboration with national leaders.

Qualifications

Minimum of 12 years of experience in engineering, transportation, infrastructure, and/or project delivery.
Professional Engineer (P.E.) license required (multi-state preferred).
Excellent leadership and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to interact with employees at all levels.
Occasional travel may be required depending on project-specific requirements.
Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including senior management, clients, regulators, and staff.

Responsibilities

Provide leadership to a group of structural engineering professionals across multiple offices.
Lead large-scale, complex structural projects with budgeting and supervision of staff and subcontractors.
Develop and pursue business opportunities and contribute to strategic growth of structural engineering work.
Coordinate with regional and national leaders to drive growth and manage pipeline.
