Job summary

WSP is seeking a Technical Director, Project Management for the Mountain Pacific Region. The role leads multidisciplinary teams on major transportation programs, ensuring scope, budget, and schedule adherence across multiple projects.

You will mentor staff, manage client communications, and drive quality outcomes. Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s in Engineering/Planning/Construction Management, 12+ years post-education with 5+ in transit work, and a PMP or CAP-M certification or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Planning or related discipline.
• 12+ years of relevant post-education experience with 5+ years in transit and transportation projects.
• Essential project management certification or equivalent experience (e.g., PMP, CAP-M).
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support major transportation programs and projects.
• Oversee cross-functional teams, manage budgets, hours, expenses, and contractual obligations.
• Assist in development of proposals, cost estimates, scope, schedules, and resource plans.
• Support budget development, ETCs, recovery plans, and invoicing.
• Assist in change management, quality management, and QA/QC activities.
• Develop and manage project management reporting and documentation.
