Job summary

HDR is a leading engineering and architecture firm delivering transportation solutions. The Senior Project Manager will lead multi-discipline teams within HDR’s Transportation Business Group, guiding projects from development through close-out in support of connected mobility initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• 10 years related experience.
• Minimum 5 years project management experience.
• Professional Engineer license recognized by licensing board.
• MS Office and MS Project experience.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate work of single or multidiscipline teams throughout the project's lifecycle.
• Responsible for all aspects of large multidiscipline projects or medium-sized projects with high technical complexity.
• Produce and coordinate several projects concurrently.
• Establish and maintain client relations, and be involved with marketing, contractual, design and production meetings.
• Conduct work sessions for deliverable development with staff and stakeholders.
• Coordinate staffing and workload through the project life cycle and ensure deliverables meet schedule.
• Track financial aspects of projects and align efforts with budget.
• Collaborate with Accounting, Operations and Business leadership for reviews.
• Implement QA/QC procedures.
• Supervise large project staffs and mentor junior Project Managers.
