Job summary

HDR is seeking a Principal Project Manager to lead top-tier infrastructure programs within its Transportation group. You’ll advise clients, plan execution across multiple disciplines, and drive efficiencies while mentoring teams across locations.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or closely related field required.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field required.
• Ten or more years program management experience with at least four years as a Senior PM.
• Experience leading three or more programs each valued at $500M+.
• Familiar with design-build, PPP, DBFOM, EPC.
• Willingness to travel to client sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary infrastructure programs with high technical complexity.
• Advise clients on technical, regulatory, financial, and community aspects.
• Plan, direct and monitor all aspects of program execution across disciplines.
• Identify issues and risks; provide strategic problem-solving.
• Develop and implement plans, processes and tools to drive efficiency.
• Direct services of large program teams or mega-projects.
• Promote team alignment through clear communications.
• Secure resources to meet contract scope and deliverables.
• Monitor QA/QC and financial performance to meet targets.
• Support growth of HDR’s program management services.
