US Foods is seeking a Sr. Manager, Transportation to promote a safety-first culture and lead a team of Transportation Managers and drivers. You will drive safe, accurate, and timely outbound shipments while ensuring a secure work environment.

The role requires strong leadership, knowledge of DOT regulations, and the ability to optimize operations and reduce costs in a large delivery network. Travel and cross-functional collaboration are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of transportation/delivery supervision experience required.
• Strong leadership, communication and people development skills.
• Knowledge of DOT, OSHA and related regulatory requirements.
• Ability to interpret financial and operational data.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsabilités

• Achieve safety, service, and cost targets for the Transportation department.
• Oversee and develop Transportation Managers and drivers through coaching and training.
• Monitor staffing, performance, and discipline to meet targets and values.
• Identify process improvements to reduce costs and enhance delivery reliability.
• Ensure compliance with company, state, and federal regulations and audits.
