Job summary

US Foods is seeking a Sr. Manager, Transportation to drive a safety-first, service-driven and cost-conscious culture across the Transportation department.

You will lead Transportation Managers, coach drivers, and ensure accurate, on-time outbound shipments to customers and other DCs while maintaining compliance with DOT regulations. The role requires at least five years in transportation supervision, strong leadership and data interpretation skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of experience in transportation/delivery supervision.
• Strong leadership and people development skills.
• Knowledge of DOT, OSHA, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Achieve safety, service, and cost targets in the Transportation department.
• Oversee and develop Transportation Managers and drivers.
• Ensure on-time, accurate outbound shipments and compliance with regulations.
• Identify cost-reduction opportunities and improve processes.
• Coordinate with union/non-union personnel as required.
