Job summary

Farnsworth Group, Inc. is seeking a technically focused Sr. Engineering Manager to lead transportation roadway and street projects.

You will provide engineering, QC/QA, and staff support for local, statewide, and nationwide clients while mentoring teams and coordinating with multiple disciplines. You will manage budgets and schedules, collaborate with leadership, and drive client relations across transportation design projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Civil Engineering program.
• 15+ years of transportation experience with diverse project experience.
• Licensed Illinois Professional Engineer (PE).
• Experience working on and with IDOT, County, and Local Agency projects.

Responsibilities

• Engineer, support, and provide QC/QA for projects related to transportation planning and design
• Develop and mentor staff
