Farnsworth Group, Inc. is seeking a technically focused Sr. Engineering Manager to join our Transportation Group.
You will provide engineering, staff support, and QC/QA services for transportation roadway and street projects for local, statewide, and nationwide clients. Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Civil Engineering program.
- 15+ years of transportation experience with diverse project experience.
- Licensed Illinois Professional Engineer (PE).
- Experience working on IDOT, County, and Local Agency projects.
- Proven leadership in engineering staff.
- Strong team player in a multi-disciplinary environment.
Responsibilities
- Engineer, support, and provide QC/QA for projects related to transportation planning and design
- Develop and mentor staff
- Collaborate with other disciplines
- Develop and maintain client relations
- Establish and maintain budgets and schedules
- Work in partnership with leadership and other team members throughout the Transportation Group and Company
