Farnsworth Group, Inc. is seeking a technically focused Sr. Engineering Manager to lead transportation roadway and street design teams.

The role offers QC/QA services for local, state, and national clients and involves overseeing project budgets and schedules while mentoring staff. You’ll collaborate with disciplines across the Transportation Group and Company, develop client relationships, and ensure high-quality deliverables through a hands-on leadership approach and strong communication

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering required.
• 15+ years of transportation experience with diverse project experience.
• Licensed Illinois PE.
• Experience with IDOT, County, and Local Agency projects.
• Proven leadership skills with engineering staff.

Responsibilities

• Engineer, support, and provide QC/QA for transportation planning and design projects.
• Develop and mentor staff.
• Collaborate with other disciplines.
• Develop and maintain Client Relations.
• Establish and maintain budgets and schedules.
• Work with leadership and team members across the Transportation Group.
