Job summary

Farnsworth Group, Inc. in Frisco, TX is seeking a technically focused Sr. Engineering Manager to lead transportation roadway projects, mentor staff, and ensure QC/QA across local and statewide programs.

You will collaborate with disciplines, manage client relations, and help set budgets and schedules while supporting a multi-office transportation group. A civil engineering degree and PE license are expected, with 15+ years of transportation experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited program.
• Licensed Illinois Professional Engineer (PE).
• 15+ years of transportation project experience.
• Experience with IDOT, County, and Local Agency projects.
• Proven leadership of staff in a multi-disciplinary environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with MicroStation, CONNECT, ORD.

Responsibilities

• Engineer, support, and provide QC/QA for projects related to transportation planning and design
• Develop and mentor staff
• Collaborate with other disciplines
• Develop and maintain Client Relations
• Establish and maintain budgets and schedules
• Work in partnership with leadership and other team members throughout the Transportation Group and Company
