Job summary

Benesch is seeking a Drainage Project Engineer to lead hydraulic and hydrology analyses for transportation projects in our Denver office on a hybrid schedule. You will design open and closed storm drainage systems and coordinate plan production with our civil/transportation and structural teams.

Ideal candidates bring a BS in civil engineering, 8+ years drainage experience, and a Colorado PE or eligibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline is required.
• 8+ years of transportation drainage experience preferred.
• Colorado PE license required or to be obtained within 6 months of employment.
• Proven experience managing projects and teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform hydraulic and hydrology analyses for transportation projects.
• Prepare drainage reports meeting client and industry standards.
• Coordinate plan production for drainage design and detention facilities.
• Develop scopes, schedules and staff hours for drainage tasks.
• Mentor and train junior staff as needed.
