Job summary

Durham School Services is seeking a Dispatch Coordinator in Perris, CA to oversee daily driver assignments and routing for school transportation operations. You will ensure on-time service, communicate routing details, and coordinate with maintenance and supervisor teams to resolve issues.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, dispatch experience, and strong communication skills, with bi-lingual abilities considered a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required or equivalent.
• Previous dispatch experience is preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and management.

Responsibilities

• Directs and monitors daily dispatch assignments for drivers and bus assistants.
• Coordinates routes, coverage, and vehicle assignments to ensure on-time service.
• Communicates routing details and changes to drivers and supervisors; escalates issues as needed.
• Coordinates vehicle maintenance and emergency response as required.
• Maintains accurate route and driver records and complies with policies.
