Job summary

Durham School Services is seeking a Dispatch Coordinator to manage daily driver assignments, routes, and on-time service across our California operations. You will communicate with drivers, schedule vehicles, and coordinate with maintenance to ensure continuous operations.

The role requires strong multitasking, attention to detail, and effective communication in a fast-paced environment. Prior dispatch or transportation coordination experience is preferred, bilingual abilities a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous dispatch experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Bi-lingual abilities are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Directs and monitors daily driver assignments and vehicle allocation.
• Ensures on-time completion of routes, field trips, and charters.
• Communicates route details to drivers for proper execution.
• Coordinates vehicle service and emergency response as needed.
• Maintains route documentation and compliant records.
