Qualifications

• Graduation from a standard high school or equivalent.
• Four years of full-time or equivalent part-time paid experience as an emergency telecommunicator, or equivalent experience in an electronic management center.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to speak clearly and possess good communication skills and telephone etiquette.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coordinate and train Traffic Management Center (TMC) Operators.
• Oversee traffic systems control, incident/congestion management and communications.
• Operate state-of-the-art traffic management workstations to facilitate traffic flow and minimize congestion.
• Perform related clerical and technical tasks and other duties as assigned.
• May work rotating shifts and be on-call during off-hours, including emergencies.
