Job summary

RoadSafe Traffic Systems is seeking a Traffic Control Supervisor to design, set up, and maintain temporary traffic control in work zones. You will use devices to divert drivers and pedestrians, monitor repairs, and supervise crews installing equipment.

Requirements include a valid driver’s license, 2+ years in traffic control with 4,000 field hours, ATSSA TCS training, and ability to pass background, drug, and DOT checks. Willingness to travel statewide and work nights/weekends as project needs.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• 2+ years in traffic control with 4,000 field hours.
• Must complete ATSSA TCS intermediate training course.
• Must pass background check and drug test per DOT requirements.
• Read and follow traffic control plans and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Operate company trucks to transport materials and equipment to job sites.
• Drive MOT vehicle to and from projects and on work sites.
• Drive TMA vehicle to and from projects and on work sites.
• Place temporary construction signs and set up traffic control devices.
• Install, maintain, and remove delineators, signs, posts, and supports.
• Monitor the work zone and ensure safety and compliance.
• Perform basic shop work and equipment maintenance.
• Adhere to safety rules and company policies.
