RoadSafe Traffic Systems is seeking a Traffic Control Supervisor to design, set up, and oversee temporary traffic control in work zones across the state. You will operate and manage MOT and TMA vehicles, deploy signs and barriers, and supervise crews to ensure safety and efficiency.

The role requires a valid driver's license, 2+ years in traffic control, ATSSA TCS intermediate training, and ability to meet DOT and background checks.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License required.
• 2+ years of traffic control experience with 4,000 field hours.
• ATSSA TCS intermediate training certification required.
• Must pass background check including motor vehicle records.
• Must pass drug test and meet DOT requirements.
• Must wear safety equipment (boots, hard hat, safety glasses, vest).
• Ability to read plans and ensure traffic control plans are implemented.
• Knowledge of state and local roadways and operating delivery vehicles.
• Willingness to travel statewide; occasional overnight stays.
• Rotating on-call schedule availability.

Responsabilités

• Operate company trucks to transport materials and equipment to job sites.
• Drive MOT vehicle to and from projects and work sites.
• Drive TMA vehicle to and from projects and on-site locations.
• Place temporary construction signs in work areas.
• Position arrow boards or variable message boards.
• Set up traffic cones and other safety devices.
• Monitor the work zone during shifts and keep items in place.
• Load and unload traffic control items at shift changes.
• Install, remove, and reset delineators, signs, and supports.
• Perform shop maintenance and repair of equipment.
• Adhere to safety rules, company policies, and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
