Job summary

RoadSafe Traffic Systems seeks a Traffic Control Supervisor to design, set up, and maintain temporary traffic control in work zones. You will supervise teams, operate trucks, and ensure compliance with DOT safety regulations.

The role requires ATSSA TCS intermediate training, 2+ years with 4,000+ field hours, and willingness to travel statewide. Rotating on-call shifts, nights, and weekends are possible, with comprehensive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to drive company trucks.
• Ability to read traffic plans and ensure plans are implemented in the field.
• Knowledge of safety rules and DOT requirements is required.
• Must pass background and motor vehicle records checks; drug testing required.
• Able to lift up to 70 pounds and work nights/weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate company trucks to transport materials and equipment to job sites.
• Drive MOT and TMA vehicles to projects and on sites.
• Set up traffic cones, signs, and arrow boards in work areas.
• Monitor work zone safety and ensure equipment is positioned correctly.
• Load and unload traffic control items at shift changes.
• Perform general maintenance on equipment and follow safety rules.
