Travelers is looking for a Senior Litigation Claim Representative in Minnesota to handle complex, high-exposure claims within a transportation-focused portfolio. You will apply thorough claims management, investigative techniques, and negotiation skills to resolve matters efficiently.

You will serve as a technical resource to customers, the field and business partners, ensuring timely, fair, and cost-effective outcomes while mentoring junior staff and maintaining robust case documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Seven years of insurance claims experience, preferably commercial transportation claims.
• Experience with claims management and software systems.
• Strong understanding of insurance principles and policy language.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proven ability to handle complex claims and negotiate settlements.
• Exceptional customer service for insureds and claimants.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage a caseload of complex or technical Northland transportation claims.
• Conduct detailed inspections and interviews to gather information and assess claim validity.
• Analyze insurance policies, endorsements, and exclusions to make informed claim decisions.
• Maintain detailed claim documentation and comply with internal protocols and regulations.
• Coordinate with internal teams and legal counsel.
• Handle customer escalations and complex inquiries with professionalism.
• Provide mentorship to Claim Reps and Trainees.
