Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Continuous Improvement Engineer to apply data-driven CI, engineering, and automation to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost across transportation operations.

You will leverage Power BI, Excel, and Lean tools to identify root causes, map processes, and lead cross-functional CI projects with operations management. Occasional travel is required as needed.

Qualifications

• Transportation experience in Transportation Management, Dedicated, FTL/LTL is required.
• Experience maintaining Power BI dashboards is required.
• Proficiency in Excel and Power BI is required.
• Experience with Appian Direct Route or similar transportation modeling software is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collects data and performs statistical analysis to drive continuous improvement.
• Manages CI and engineering projects to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
• Develops and applies Lean tools and data analysis for transportation operations.
• Facilitates Value Stream Maps and Kaizen events and trains teams in Lean methods.
