Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Continuous Improvement Engineer to drive data-driven CI initiatives across transportation operations. You will collect data, perform analyses, and map processes to identify gaps and deliver measurable improvements in safety, quality, delivery, and cost.

The role requires strong Power BI and Excel skills, transportation experience, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams. Experience with Appian Direct Route is a plus; travel may be required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field
5+ years in Transportation or Supply Chain industry
Transportation experience (management, dedicated, FTL/LTL)
Data visualization using Power BI/Tableau; SQL/DAX knowledge is a plus

Responsibilities

Collects data and performs statistical analysis; maps and documents processes
Leads CI and engineering projects; supports go-live certifications and automation initiatives
Develops competency in lean tools and coaching across teams
Facilitates Value Stream Maps and Kaizen events; drives sustainment of improvements
Reports progress against site objectives and recommends supply chain strategies
