Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls and assist with resolving driver, sales representative, and customer issues.
• Communicate route updates to drivers as needed.
• Utilize software and systems to create, update, and communicate transportation reports and files.
• Maintain transportation documentation and metrics.
• Complete the damages and shorts process by communicating with vendors and drivers to find resolutions.
• Support the training and development of junior clerical team members.
• Coordinate logistics by scheduling pickup appointments for backhaul orders and vendors.
• Optimize the pickup and delivery of inbound backhauls while considering operational restrictions and costs.
