Job summary

HDR is seeking a Senior Project Manager in Transmission Routing & Siting to lead buildable routing solutions for electric infrastructure. You will work with utility staff, developers, regulators, and landowners to develop and defend project routes and sites.

This role requires strong leadership, regulatory familiarity, and the ability to manage complex, time-sensitive programs while mentoring staff and expanding HDR's regional footprint in the South Central US.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field required.
• 10 years experience in linear projects with routing/environmental planning.
• 8+ years proposing scopes, budgets, schedules with multi-disciplinary teams.
• Experience with state utility regulatory submissions and expert witness.
• Ability to manage multiple complex, time-sensitive projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop buildable routing and siting solutions for infrastructure.
• Collaborate with utility staff, developers and consultants.
• Engage with government agencies, regulators and landowners.
• Prepare testimony and technical documentation.
• Manage project scope, schedule, and budget.
• Mentor newer staff and develop client deliverables.
