Job summary

HDR is seeking a Senior Project Manager - Transmission Routing & Siting to lead buildable routing and siting solutions for electric transmission projects across our South Central Region. You will work with utility staff, developers, regulators and landowners to deliver compliant, efficient routes.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in linear projects, 5+ years of PM experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and will join HDR’s employee-owned culture with frequent travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field.
• 10 years related experience.
• At least 5 years of project management experience.
• Experience with MS Office, estimating and scheduling software, and project management software.
• Excellent organizational, project management and communication skills.
• Active participation in employee-owned culture is a must.

Responsibilities

• Develop buildable routing and siting solutions for transmission projects.
• Collaborate with utility and developer staff and consultants.
• Engage with government agencies, regulators, communities and landowners.
• Prepare testimony and technical documentation for line routes and site selection.
• Manage project scope, schedule and budget.
• Mentor and develop newer staff to deliver client results.
• Build relationships with HDR and utility staff.
• Travel 10–20% of the time.
• Perform other duties as needed.
