Job summary

HDR seeks a Senior Project Manager - Transmission Routing & Siting to lead buildable routing and siting solutions for electric transmission projects. You will collaborate with utility staff, developers and consultants, preparing testimony and documentation for regulatory submissions.

The ideal candidate will have >10 years in linear projects, strong proposal development skills, and experience with expert witness testimony.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in related field; 10+ years of experience in linear projects with routing/siting
Experience writing proposals, scopes of work, budgets and schedules for complex environmental projects
Experience preparing applications for state utility regulatory agencies and system operators
Expert witness testimony experience is preferred

Responsibilities

Develop buildable routing and siting solutions for utility and developer infrastructure
Lead project teams and coordinate with utility staff, developers and consultants
Engage with government agencies, regulators, communities and landowners
Prepare testimony and technical documentation for defensible line routing and facility siting
Monitor project scope, schedule and budget; guide junior staff and ensure high-quality client deliverables
Build relationships with HDR staff and clients; support business development and lead generation
