Job summary

Black & Veatch is seeking a Senior Structural – Transmission Line Engineer to lead design engineering for 345kV+ projects, including rebuilds and greenfield work with exposure to HVDC and 765kV opportunities.

You will collect data, perform calculations, and develop equipment recommendations while ensuring budget, schedule, and quality requirements are met. A hybrid work environment with career growth and client relations is offered.

Qualifications

• Requires bachelor's degree in engineering.
• Minimum of 11 years related work experience.
• Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Provide design guidance for transmission line projects.
• Perform calculations and develop equipment recommendations.
• Maintain client relations and support business development where appropriate.
• Lead/mentor junior engineers and coordinate multi-discipline activities.
