Job summary

Black & Veatch Family of Companies seeks an Associate Structural - Transmission Line Engineer to support design and analysis of transmission projects worldwide. You will collect data, perform calculations, and develop recommendations for equipment and materials within project constraints.

The role involves collaborating with project teams, maintaining client relations, and contributing to business development while delivering quality results in a hybrid work setting after the initial period.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited program.
Minimum of 1 year related work experience.
Ability to complete pre-employment checks as required.
Experience with utility-scale projects and 3D analysis software.

Responsibilities

Support design engineering and analysis of transmission line work.
Assist with 345kV+ rebuild and greenfield projects including HVDC and 765kV.
Collect data, perform calculations, and ensure adherence to standards.
Develop equipment/material recommendations within budget, schedule, and quality constraints.
Guide engineering team members and assist business development when needed.
