Job summary

Black & Veatch Corporation is seeking a Senior Structural – Transmission Line Engineer to lead design and analysis on high‑voltage transmission projects. You will develop equipment/material recommendations, manage budgets and schedules, and mentor engineering teams across challenging 345kV+ rebuild and greenfield work.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering and at least 11 years of related experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited program.
• Minimum of 11 years related work experience.
• Must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (criminal/civil background check, drug screen, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Support design engineering and analysis on transmission scopes.
• Develop recommendations for equipment and materials within budget, schedule, and quality requirements.
• Lead project teams and coordinate with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Apply advanced engineering methods to complex transmission line problems.
