Job summary

Black & Veatch Corporation seeks a Senior Structural – Transmission Line Engineer to lead design and analysis for high-voltage transmission projects. You will work on 69kV to 500kV overhead systems, develop recommendations, and mentor team members within a hybrid work model.

Ideal candidates have 11+ years in the field, a bachelor’s in engineering, and experience with transmission line software and 3D analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering is required and must be ABET-accredited where applicable.
• Minimum of 11 years related work experience in engineering for transmission projects.
• Must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (background checks, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Proactively provides guidance on department design guides, standards, and codes.
• Prepares complex engineering calculations and manages budgets, schedules, and quality.
• Develops advanced engineering solutions for high-voltage transmission projects and mentors team members.
