Job summary

Black & Veatch seeks a Senior Structural – Transmission Line Engineer to design, analyze, and lead transmission projects across multiple states. You will contribute to large rebuilds and greenfield efforts, applying advanced structural methods and data-driven design to meet client and code requirements.

Ideal candidates bring 11+ years in overhead line design, strong PLCS/POLE tools skills, and proven client collaboration capabilities.

Qualifications

• Requires bachelor's degree in engineering and 11+ years related experience.
• Experience with overhead transmission line design 69kV–500kV.
• Ability to complete pre-employment checks and onboarding requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support design engineering and analysis on transmission scopes.
• Develop calculations and data for engineering work and ensure compliance with standards.
• Lead or mentor engineering team members and coordinate with clients.
• Assist with business development activities and client engagement.
• Ensure adherence to project budgets, schedules, and quality requirements.
