Job summary

Black & Veatch Corporation seeks an Associate Structural - Transmission Line Engineer to support global transmission projects, performing design and analysis for 345kV+ work and greenfield/rebuild efforts. You will collect data, perform calculations, and develop component recommendations within budget and schedule constraints.

Hybrid or flexible work options may be offered after the initial period. Minimum 1 year experience and a bachelor’s degree in engineering are required; pre-employment

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited program.
• Minimum of 1 year related work experience.
• Ability to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements including background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Continues to learn and remains current on departmental design guides, standards and policies.
• Applies to assigned tasks and supports quality program and continuous improvement.
• Prepares and verifies less complex engineering deliverables and performs data collection.
• Develops equipment/material recommendations while respecting budget, schedule and quality.
• Coordinates with supervisor and project leadership and supports client relations.
• Shares knowledge of latest technology and participates in project teams.
